Both of these articles refer to the same drink. They should be merged. Neelix (talk) 12:36, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. They should be merged. jcmiller1215 21:27, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I agree. Redbreast is the best whiskey in the World and should not be confused; like its drinkers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.0.68.128 (talk) 23:21, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This is a fairly obvious need. Unless someone objects I will merge the two. Sláinte! Hammersbach (talk) 18:09, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

pot still

[edit]

Aren't all Scottish single malts "pure pot still" as well? PizzaMan (talk) 07:32, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gilbeys

[edit]

When I was young, Redbreast was with Gilbeys Gilbeys of Ireland. Gilbeys bought the raw spirit from Jamesons, Jameson Irish Whiskey, this was before the Irish Distillers merger. Gilbeys distilled it again, stored in in sherry casks, and aged it for 10 or 12 years. It was lovely. After the merger, Jameson ceased supplying, so some years later, it vanished. I assure you that the redbreast of today is not the same as the Redbreast sold by Gilbeys. This isn't ever OR, its memory, there must be references somewhere. The article should mention this Lugnad (talk) 02:55, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
