The dead blues in Chapter 9
[edit]I am almost 100% certain they're the same blues from chapter 3, The Meta killed them but the reds of that base never knew it untill the end of Chapter 9 when a blue saids "Hey guys, the blues are dead." Think bout it, same map, the bodies match the bodies of the Chapter 3 blue soldiers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.194.232.124 (talk) 08:48, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- Speculation. Sorry. Dac (talk) 11:52, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
Speculation? It's blaitantly obvious. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.194.232.124 (talk) 23:57, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- Not stated outright, therefore speculation, and the "bodies match up" theory is original research. Dac (talk) 00:10, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
The New Guy Referred to in the Episode isn't Caboose Right?
[edit]The New guy they keep reffering to is the Meta disguised as a blue isn't it. I mean they refer to Caboose as Caboose and even Caboose mentions this new guy. And since all the Soldiers are basically accounted for except for this one wouldn't it make sense that the Meta is in fact the new guy and is searching the tanks and vehicles for Gary. EDIT: I already put this reasoning in but if you guys think i should take it out i will.—--The Famous White Wolf (talk) 19:05, 26 June 2008 • contribs)
- I've reverted it for now as it is speculation, which does not belong. For all we know it could have taken the place of an existing soldier. As has been demonstrated a few times before with these series (O'malley's seeming death at the end of season 3, who he jumped into at the end of season 4, the explosion in the sky at the end of season 5, etc.) it's best not to speculate anyhow.--Drat (Talk) 02:29, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
The First time when Miller Says new guy, he is refering to caboose. When Caboose says "I think the 'new guy' did it," He is reffering to Wash. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.247.63.94 (talk) 22:27, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
We should add it still retains its' comedy trait
[edit]I don't know if you know what I mean... But if you've seen episode two it is funny. Allen649 (talk) 21:48, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Voice adding, I added new voice actors to it. EDIT: Added Gavin Free (voice of Jones) and Joel Heyman (Voice of Caboose) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.194.232.124 (talk) 13:49, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
It uses a mixture of Comedy. it aint pure comedy at most points this time since they're trying to make it more serious this time. But as far as ive seen all four chapters so far, its really a great follow up —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.233.245.115 (talk) 00:29, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Would it be fair to classify it as a comedy-drama, since the atmosphere is markedly different from that of the original, and because the storyline itself doesn't hinge on the absurdity and wackiness of the original? 146.165.148.188 (talk) 20:39, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
The guy at the end of Chapter 3
[edit]He does have the same armor and color scheme as the Meta, as this picture proves:
http://img239.imageshack.us/img239/3559/rvbretrailerhires007000na4.jpg
In the trailer, if you pause at the right times, you can see the Meta as he goes out of his cloak to attack. Thus, the guy at the end of Ch. 3 either IS the Meta or a part of the group the Meta is, in which the same armor colors would be used. General Banzai (talk) 00:16, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, original research. Until we can get an official source that says so, we can't add that. While I don't doubt it is the Meta, that doesn't change the fact that we can't add it because it's all speculation. Dac (talk) 00:42, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not saying it IS the Meta, I'm saying it has the same armor as the Meta, which is absolutely, 100% true, as confirmed by that picture. General Banzai (talk) 00:48, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- All the same, it still falls under the heading of original research. Sorry. Dac (talk) 00:51, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Miniseries?
[edit]Where does Rooster Teeth mention that this was a miniseries? I was under the impression that it was going to be the sequel to the Blood Gulch Chronicles. Not a sarcastic question, I just honestly don't remember seeing that it would be a miniseries.--58.165.196.64 (talk) 07:13, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- EDIT: Going onto their website, they don't ever mention 'miniseries'. They only mention 'series' and that they plan to release 'all through summer'. Can someone remove "miniseries" from the page? Or should I?--58.165.196.64 (talk) 07:17, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Valid point. I also recall seeing it stated it would run 20 episodes - not a miniseries by any count. I'll remove it. Dac (talk) 07:22, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Voices
[edit]I noticed none of the original voice actors are listed in the Voices section of the page. Since the end of the trailer lists all of the original voice actors returning, is there a reason we're not adding it? Like are we only listing the voices who have been in "aired" episodes? --Roeas (talk) 12:09, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- At this point, yeah...for all we know, the scenes featuring those characters may be cut from the final drafts. We may as well wait it out. Dac (talk) 12:55, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've Just added Shannon Merlin (Voice of South) and Mark Bellum (Voice of Delta) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.194.232.124 (talk) 07:04, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Sheila's Log
[edit]In the episdoe 5 breakdown someone had added that Andy's voice was heard in the backround. However I replayed this recording three times and Andy's voice is not heard. I have taken the liberty of deleting this false assumption, and adding a brief on Sheila's mention of Gamma(Gary)'s status in lockdown behind Sheila's firewall. Ergna (talk) 06:32, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Andy could be heard clearly in the Sponsor version of the episode. I assume we are going to use the public version for the page, but just for clarification. Ccs4ever (talk) 06:37, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Not necessary here since it added nothing major to the overall plot, so yeah, we can leave it out. Dac (talk) 12:17, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Armor in Chapter 4
[edit]I just looked at all the Halo 3 armors, and although Caboose is wearing Mark V armor like Church says, Church himself looks to be wearing Mark IV armor. The Mark VI armor really stretches further down the helmet and looks like a T. It is more commonly known as Close Quarters Combat armor. Is this mentionable, maybe in the episode description or character page maybe? It is just unlike them to be wrong about something like that, but maybe I am wrong instead. BioYu-Gi! (talk) 23:23, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- Given that this is a separate universe it's entirely plausible that in this series, Church's armour is indeed a Mark VI, for the purposes of RT. And even if it wasn't, it's hardly notable, so there's no need for it. Thanks anyway, though, good catch. Dac (talk) 23:56, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
Mark IV, (as in four) is not a playable armor permutation in Halo 3. (See link) Mark V and VI are. There is another helmet piece called "CQB" (Click Here) that has a T-shape, but it is definitely not Church. In order for Church to be present in Halo 2 and Halo 3's level maps, Church has to have a helmet neutral to both games. CQB armor is not in Halo 2 and Mark IV armor is only present in Halo Wars. Also, since in Halo 3 the only Mark V armor available is the Mark V helmet, Caboose wears a Mark V helmet and Mark VI of everything else in this Chapter. --CornfieldMannequin (talk) 17:17, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
Chapter Summaries
[edit]This may be just me, but I think the chapter summaries are a little too wordy. Would anyone object to a rewrite of them? Djseifer (talk) 20:38, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- Not at all. If you can condense them, so much the better, really. Dac (talk) 23:00, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- There is a RvB wiki. Can we condense the summaries here and have the extended ones over there? Facebookery (talk) 00:42, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Question
[edit]It says that Kathleen Zuelch is a voice in this series. Can somebody explain who she voices (as far as I'm aware, Tex isn't appearing)? Otherwise, this is speculation and should be removed. For a more knowledgeable and relaxed Wikipedia- Nemesis646 (talk) 12:22, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- You're forgetting about the ship's flight recorder log.--Drat (Talk) 14:30, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Sigma
[edit]Washington mentioned the AI Sigma in the latest episode, and I do not recall ever hearing of that. Was it mentioned beforehand, or was it simply Wash listing some examples of the AI personalities? BioYu-Gi! (talk) 16:22, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, this is not a forum. The talk page is only for improving the article, anything we discuss would be original research, and thus could not be used in the article. Ccs4ever (talk) 21:06, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- I was just asking if that character was mentioned before, because they are not in the character article and I was not sure if Sigma should be put in. BioYu-Gi! (talk) 17:29, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- Sigma had never been mentioned before Washington said it. That much is certain. Ccs4ever (talk) 20:41, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
Memos
[edit]Memos between the Director of project freelancer and the Chairman of the sub committee could be included before each episode synopsis. They're not particularly long and would add a certain something to the brief descriptions particularly showing the progression of hostility between the two parties.
El.numbre (talk) 18:05, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
I added Jack Lee and John Reed to the voice actors (jack = chairman John = director) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.192.171.45 (talk) 12:41, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
Another AI?
[edit]It says on the page in the summary of chapter 19: "It is revealed that the Alpha AI is actually created from the mind of the Director, the original Leonard Church, and that he loved a woman that was killed years ago and that his memories of her were stored in an AI."
But here is a transcript of that part of chapter 19 that talks about the woman: "Someone extremely dear to me was lost very early in my life. My mind has always plagued me with the question: if the choice had been placed in my hands, could I have saved her? The memory of her has haunted me my entire life, and more so in these last few years than I could ever have imagined. But given the events of these past few weeks, I feel confident that had I been given the chance, I would have made those sacrifices myself...had I only the chance..."
Where does it mention that his memories of her were stored in an AI? Sounds like OR to me... --AndreRD (talk) 01:57, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- I thought as much. I was going to watch that bit of the video again yesterday to verify, but then forgot about 10 seconds later. I've fixed that bit.--Drat (Talk) 04:19, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
At the time of this writing, the article reads "It is revealed that the Alpha AI is actually created from the mind of the Director, the original Leonard Church, and that the woman he loved was Tex, who was killed years ago." However, it is never "revealed" that Tex is the woman to whom the director is referring; this should either be removed, or the "revealed" replaced with "implied." ~~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.115.218.241 (talk) 19:51, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- It should say implied, without question. Wash mentions in 17 that Tex was the favorite, this also makes sense, as well as the relationship between AI Church and AI Tex. They were both based off the Director and his "love", so it's only natural their minds would be drawn to each other once more. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.136.3.10 (talk) 20:38, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- it shouldn't even mention it, as it is speculation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.252.76.200 (talk) 22:15, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
I would argue that the implication might not even be useful in the article. Earlier in the season, it was revealed that Church (Alpha) was the lone AI given to the Director. So if that is the case, then it makes no sense as to why Tex would be an AI or as to why Tex has anything to do with the woman original Church was talking about. Maybe I missed something, but I just remember them saying that Church was the only fully-functional AI unit, and so any implication in that aspect would be purely coincidental. Zanzibar in Chapter 7
[edit]In the section Chapter 7 it says, "the wind-power facility that the cast of the Blood Gulch Chronicles visited in Seasons 3 and 4." This, like Chapter 3's "Rat's Nest" referral, should mention the title of the multiplayer map where it takes place. Halo 2's "Zanzibar" level and Halo 3's "Last Resort" level both match the description of a beach and windmill. If somebody hadn't watched Season 3 or Season 4 of Red vs. Blue, or had even seen this particular video, they would want some clarification on what map it was. If it is "Zanzibar", (which it probably is, because the Blood Gulch series only used Halo 1 and Halo 2) then it should be mentioned as Zanzibar, and not "some place where some other people went, way back when."--CornfieldMannequin (talk) 20:06, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- AFAIK, Zanzibar/Last Resort are never referred to by name in the series, whereas the names of both Valhalla and Rat's Nest appear on screen in the trailer and chapter 3 respectively. The sentence simply needs rewording.--Drat (Talk) 02:58, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Well, it should be easy to determine which level it is. If somebody's wearing an EVA helmet, (like the Meta) then it obviously isn't Halo 2. But if the episode makes reference to Halo 2's level via Halo 3's level, it wouldn't be very good to mention Last Resort. Is that the case?
And another thing: Chapter 6 refers to Washington, Church and Caboose riding on ATVs (when they're really Mongooses), while Chapters 13 and 14 mention specific vehicle names. (Warthog, Hornet.) Should that be changed as well?--CornfieldMannequin (talk) 16:07, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- If the name gets used in the show, we use it. If it isn't, we don't. Church calls the Mongoose a motorcycle in chapter 6. In chapter 13, a guard comments "Looks like the Hornet's gonna get 'em." Washington refers to a jeep as a Warthog in chapter 14.--Drat (Talk) 04:29, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
