"바캉스 (Vacance)"?
[edit]Is "바캉스 (Vacance)" the official song title? If yes, I would like to know why and would like to see a source!
"바캉스" means "vacation" in English, while "vacance" is the French word for "vacancy". That is a totally different meaning. What is going on?
If it is the official song title, the false translation is not only funny and embarrassing, it will be a great find for funny mistake sites! We need a verification of this mistake. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.114.148.229 (talk) 17:31, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
- I looked up the title and the english translation for the lyrics, "Vacation" should be a more logical translation. Let's change it to "Vacation" until someone else gives a reason otherwise.--TerryAlex (talk) 23:16, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
Merger Proposal
[edit]I propose merging Red Light (f(x) song) into this article, Red Light (album). Both articles are short, and I don't imagine there is much more that can be added to them individually - the information just isn't out there. Most songs (even hit singles) do not merit an article of their own per WP:SONGS, and much of the information on the song article is a repetition of what is on the album article. Additionally, I think the album article would be enhanced by the more in-depth discussion of its lead promotional single. Instead of stringing the information out in several places, let's make one quality article about this album and its songs. :) Shinyang-i (talk) 19:28, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
- Given the lack of comments, I will proceed with the merge. Shinyang-i (talk) 05:49, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
Billboard Indie Albums Chart
[edit]I removed the claim of the album placing at #24 on the Billboard Indie Albums Chart because I could find no evidence of it having done so. I went through the Billboard archives for that chart, which show places #1 to #25, for the entire period around the Red Light release and never saw it. Also, I can't fathom how SM Entertainment would be considered "indie". If anyone has more info on this subject, feel free to post here or re-add the chart placement with a reliable source.
On a related note, the archives of the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Charts are not publicly-available, which presents a bit of a problem in verifying that claim. I found a tweet from kpop music writer Jeff Benjamin congratulating f(x) for the chart placement, however, and right now am using it as a source. It's not perfect but I didn't want the information to be lost to the sands of time. Anyone who has a better idea or better source, feel free to jump in. :) Shinyang-i (talk) 13:49, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
