Created page
[edit]I created this article in order to merge the article stubs devoted to two of Brown's record labels, Try Me and People, something I understand is encouraged where appropriate (though now I'm having trouble finding that policy...), and to eliminate the ill-conceived Category:James Brown record labels. I haven't done this sort of merge before and I'm not sure I have titled the new article optimally. Although a merge tag has already been place on this article,I do think it is better to have this as a separate page, as the main James Brown article is already quite long (currently 84 kilobytes) and this is a facet of his career that is reasonably distinct from his biography and works as a performer.
