  • Please do not prod this page and redirect it to revocation again. Recanting is NOT always the same as revoking. After the amount of people who down the centuries have been unwillingly coerced to recant their beliefs, or punished for not doing so, I do not see that recanting can be classed as NN or shoved off into Wiktionary. I was expecting there to be at least some discussion of recanting in the context of law, and the admissibility of hearsay and testimony, in this article. I don't know what exactly could be included here, but I think there should be something. - 87.58.32.220 (talk) 13:06, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
