Story by song section

I think this section is very unnecessary. The Story section itself should contain a summary of the album's story, but listing what each individual song will only serve to clutter the page. That's not mentioning the fact that the references provided do not actually provide any of the written information about the songs. Right now, the inclusion of the Story by song section is in violation of WP:PLOT. I'll leave the section in place for now in case anyone wants to defend its inclusion in the article, but if there are no compelling arguments to keep it, then I will delete it. doesn't WP:PLOT allow a summary of a story? surely that's an argument for shortening the section & putting it under "Story", rather than deleting the whole thing? That's what I was saying. It would be more appropriate to summarize the story and put it under the Story heading itself rather than detailing each song individually (to me, what's in the article is the equivalent to summarizing each chapter of a book). I plan on writing a summary (unless someone else does it first), but I want to spend more time with the album to verify that the info in the Story by song section is accurate. oh, ok, thats sounds reasonable - i had thought that you were just going to remove what we had now without replacing it with anything, and I thought having the info in a messy way would be better than not having it at all- the story is a pretty big part of the album. but if you're going to write something more concise then thats good. 89.240.86.142 (talk) 22:27, 29 October 2008 (UTC) (This is the same guy as above - apparently I have a dynamic IP :P)

Hey guys, I originally created the story by song section when the only two songs available online were the exit and the spider and the lamps. So they are very scattered with not enough info since i don't have the pre-order with script and everything. I would suggest getting someone who has that to edit this section. Also, the reason I put it by section is because I felt that the tone of the music in each section complements the story and so the listener/reader should let them interact with each other. Showbread did a similar thing on the latest release and I felt it was really effective. I do see however that it may not be appropriate and a more condensed summary may be necessary, so if someone pre-ordered it and has the script, they should do it I think cause they will have a better understanding I think. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jfspinner88 (talk • contribs) 01:02, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
