Relevant taxa

It strikes me that taxa higher than Class or Phylum, when talking about lower taxa such a families or subfamilies is superfluous. Anyone not knowing a cephalopod is a mollusc or animal ,Mollusca, Animalia, can easily find that out by going to that page. Meanwhile, why the clutter. However since not one of us owns any Wikipedia page, anyone who wishes to add something at to top should feel free to do so.J.H.McDonnell (talk) 22:01, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
