Ray Shell
Theatre includes: in the West End, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Jesus Christ Superstar, Mass Carib, Little Willies Jr, Miss Saigon, Children of Eden, 125th Street and The Lion King. He starred as Rusty in Starlight Express and created the role of Normax in Five Guys Named Moe. Also, Blues for Mr Charlie (Tricycle and Royal Exchange, Manchester), the title role in Sweeney Todd (Holland Park), Happy End (Nottingham Playhouse), Two Trains Running (Tricycle), Golden Boy (Greenwich), Vernon God Little (Young Vic) and, in the USA, Hair and The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Other work includes: many directing and writing credits. His published novel Iced has been toured internationally and is soon to be a major motion picture. He has produced, written and directed Flatshare, Frederick Avery Visits and Street Angels. Ray’s project White Folks has been at the Pleasance Theatre. Ray is also CEO of www.angel22.tv, an internet television company.
