I just added 'Hall of Fame'
[edit]- and 'punted' it up to number one!
- remember the day that he kicked so high it hit the teevees at the top of the Superdome? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.4.180.108 (talk) 02:39, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
absurd summary section
[edit]The notion that a 27 yard punt to the 12 in the Super Bowl represents some sort of highlight of Ray Guy's career shows that the writer doesn't understand football. I've deleted this nonsense. (Erniecohen (talk) 21:49, 1 November 2012 (UTC))
Punt Returns for a TD
[edit]It has been frequently claimed that Guy never had a punt returned for a TD. I removed the claim here since it isn't true. It happened three times. A posting on the Pro Football Researchers website[1] has links to the boxscores from at least three instances where it happened. Anson2995 (talk)
