The result of the move request was: Moved since Rawalpindi is in Pakistan. It should follow the pattern of capitalization used for the Pakistan divisions. I had wrongly assumed it was in India when I opened this discussion. EdJohnston (talk) 21:50, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
Rawalpindi division → Rawalpindi Division – Administrative territorial entities have the class name capitalized in the English Wikipedia. This is also true for all other items in Category:Divisions of Pakistan. – 91.9.102.194 (talk) 17:58, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). EdJohnston (talk) 18:13, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
- Comment: The divisions of Pakistan are in title case, like Peshawar Division. At present the Category:Divisions of India are in sentence case., which is wrong according to the IP who has proposed this move. The proponent says "Administrative territorial entities have the class name capitalized in the English Wikipedia". In my opinion this claim needs a reference to a guideline. - Comment: Rawalpindi Division is in Pakistan. The handling within in WikiProject India is irrelevant. The request was to revert an undiscussed move. User:EdJohnston - you failed to comply. 91.9.102.194 (talk) 20:01, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
