Deletion Debate
[edit]This is not spam. My contributions have been themed to this and similar projects as well as cross referencing the subject matter. There are plenty of external references, and suggestions on how to expand this article so that it conforms better with Wiki expectations are appreciated. My attempts to provide redirects for this title have been eliminated even though their are many A/K/As that students, teachers and parents may seek: Rats & Bullies, Rats & Bullies : The Dawn Marie Wesley Story (without hyphen between Dawn-Marie) and Rats and Bullies.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Raybuffer (talk • contribs)
- I think the best thing I can do here is to refer you to WP:SPAM and ask you not to do it again. Also, Wikipedia is an Encyclopaedia, it is not about optimising keywords, there is NO WAY it is acceptable to create empty articles just to re-direct in order to do that. Also, if you check out WP:NOTE you will find that yourv movie does not easily meet that criteria either. --Zeraeph 20:01, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure I understand when a redirect is to be used then. I took examples from other similar articles that have gone unchallenged. If it is not to help someone find the proper title of something then what is it for? Why would a redirect not be empty? It instantly redirects people to the proper article. They would never see the article that the redirect is in, so for it to have content would be superfilious. I've read the article on notability, and all that seems to tell me is that the administrators would rather see sock puppets.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Raybuffer (talk • contribs)
- Raybuffer, redirects are usually created when an existing article is renamed or merged, they aren't just created, as you did, to utilise keywords. Can you provide an link to the section on WP:NOTE that states that administrators prefer sockpuppets? Because I cannot find it.--Zeraeph 23:21, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
