Edit war
There a bunch of articles on Rational Software products that probably don't meet notability requirements and are being picked off individually at AfD. These can be redirected to this article as an alternative to deletion. So I went ahead and converted the See also list of products in this article to a list of products with summaries of each copied from the linked articles. Jcarlosmartins and I are in an edit war over this with their position being that the added material is not well cited and so can't be included. We need input from other editors to resolve this. ~Kvng (talk) 15:06, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- Why not provide a simple reference for every added application (eg. review or even short news should suffice)? Pavlor (talk) 06:18, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
- Pavlor, My position is that we don't summarily delete existing stuff just because it is unreferenced. You are welcome to add references and that will presumably make Jcarlosmartins happy. ~Kvng (talk) 15:14, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
- Jcarlosmartins do you have anything more to say here or at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rational Publishing Engine. I'm not interested in more rounds of reverting each other but I've tried to address your objection and have not heard from you. ~Kvng (talk) 01:40, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
- As Pavlor stated, please, provide references to any content you add to Wikipedia. Please, see: Wikipedia:Verifiability. --Jcarlosmartins (talk) 00:07, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- Jcarlosmartins, I am not adding any content, I am just moving it. The content is product descriptions so not exactly controversial or likely to be challenged. ~Kvng (talk) 15:12, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
