[edit]This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it is continuously updated and serves the people of the web. --80.87.30.114 (talk) 12:45, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
- if it is directed towards the prospective customers, it's promotional DGG ( talk ) 22:37, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
apparent contradictions
[edit]If the rate is fixed based upon the conventional market, (Products, paragraph 23) how can the borrowers and lenders bargain for the rate? (Products, paragraph 1.)
The date of founding is claimed as 2009 in the infobox and 2010 in the article.
puffery

Updates
[edit]Hi – I work for RateSetter. Someone at the company has been updating this page to ensure that the amount lent figure remains current. This is published on RateSetter’s own site, and also elsewhere (such as http://www.altfi.com/data/indices/UKvolume). I’d like to keep updating that figure each month so that the article doesn't become dated. Happy to discuss if anyone thinks that this wouldn’t be appropriate, so do drop me a message. Thanks, Luke Lukeo-rs (talk) 14:27, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
Updates in 2018
[edit]Hello all, I work for RateSetter and would like to factually edit and add some up to date info onto this page in the first week of June 2018. Adding in information such as the date the platform opened to customers (October 2010); updating on funding raised (current reference is from three years ago and is out of date); updating references in "Product" section which are 2 years out of date, and adding factually that loan products are made available to individual and business borrowers; and updating the "Awards" section, some of which is 5 years out of date, and removing the reference to the Peer-to-Peer Finance Association as it is not an award. I will provide citations for each amendment. Please send me a message if any of this does not look appropriate, as I would be happy to discuss. Thanks, John Rs-johnb (talk) 11:11, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
