AFC Wimbledon infobox stats
[edit]According to the Wimbledon Heritage site, here, Mr Yussuff made 24+17 appearances in 2010/11 and 29+12 appearances in 2011/12.
According to Soccerbase, he made 21+17 league appearances in 2010/11 and 29+11 league appearances in 2011/12.
2010/11 is easily explained: AFCW are counting his 3 playoff games as league appearances, where Soccerbase counts them as "other". In this case, the infobox should go with the Soccerbase figure. The infobox documentation says explicitly that club appearances are for regular season domestic league apps only, not playoffs.
As to 2011/12, the missing sub appearance occurred on 14 April away to Crawley, AFCW match report here, for which Soccerbase seems to have missed their double substitution, click on the circled 'i' after the matchdate. Looks like the person doing the PA feed for that game was otherwise engaged at the critical time, because all sites relying on that feed are missing those subs. Neutral confirmation that the substitutions happened can be found e.g. here. So Mr Yussuff's appearances should be one more than the Soccerbase figure for league apps, until and unless they fix it.
Might mean that Mr Djilali's figures are out, as well. Hopefully discrepancies in any other players' stats can be sorted out explicitly in similar fashion. Hope this helps, cheers, Struway2 (talk) 20:52, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
