Forename: Rashi
[edit]I cannot currently document this, but I believe that Dr. Rashi Fein had once told me that he had been named for Rashi - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rashi - the medieval French rabbi and author of a comprehensive commentary on the Talmud and commentary on the Tanakh.
