In Pure Tamil, 'Rasam' is known as 'Saaru'

I inserted another name (Saaru) for the Tamil part of the name list. Although the word 'rasam' is widely used in colloquial Tamil, the pure word 'Saaru' had been used in age old Tamil text books denoting the dish under question. It is noticeable that the word 'Rasam' came from Sanskrit and the word 'saaru' is quite native to the language. I couldn't find any online content for the reference but the word 'saaru' is prefered even in Tamil Nadu textbooks for school children. --117.97.159.0 (talk) 19:51, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
