Country of origin
[edit]How can the country of origin be United States, when the production companies listed are both Canadian? Wmulder (talk) 01:46, 11 July 2016 (UTC)
I think this link will explain it all:

Multinational co-production
[edit]Canadian-French co-production according to the official Corus web site. There is a mention of CBS as a broadcast partner, but no mention it is a production partner. Germany is not mentioned at al in this article, to give them credit as broadcast partner could be a stretch, they might have just bought the program for broadcast in Germany.
The German sites quoted are not official sites and reflect the individual opinions of the article writers, they can not be taken over the official Corus site if taken at all. These sources are only as good as the information the writers had available to them: [1], [2], [3]. 2001:56A:75B4:A100:5CB8:4E9A:A9CF:5291 (talk) 17:59, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- Guess you don't speak any German.
- "Mr. Graf says "We are proud to produce the series Ransom together with our production partners..."
- Therefore he is cited, it is his opinion, not the authors. Grretings from Germany.--Robberey1705 (talk) 00:50, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- I have reversed the change I made. If you listen to the Chairman of Entertainment One, All of the networks (Global, CBS, TF1 and RTL) are broadcast partners, while the production partners are eOne, Sienna Films, and Wildcats Productions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:56A:75B4:A100:5CB8:4E9A:A9CF:5291 (talk) 00:25, 16 August 2016 (UTC)
Canadian ratings
[edit]Since this is a co-pro, should they be included? Numeris reports 1 million for the debut [4]. Damnedfan1234 (talk) 16:23, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
- Yes. Therefore, in fact its a Canadian show and CBS just gives a little ammount of money for the production, it should be included, as Global is the "original" network. Please bring the ratings into the table with stating annother section in the tabel fore the "Canadian ratings".--Robberey1705 (talk) 18:40, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, it hasn't made the Canadian charts since the premiere, not at Numeris anyway. — Wyliepedia 07:24, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
