US Air Force Photo was deleted
[edit]Did anyone notice the US Air Force photo linked here was deleted because the US Air Force public domain photos are not good enough? What a shame. --Colputt (talk) 21:48, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Engine Displacement
[edit]I scanned a bit and searched a bit, but I can't find the displacement of this engine. Does anyone know? With a good reference? Rainbow-five (talk) 18:59, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
- The 770 in the name indicates cubic inches rounded down or up to a multiple of 5. In the Specifications section, it lists Displacement, which says "773 in³ (12.6 L)". - BilCat (talk) 19:52, 12 May 2016 (UTC)

IV-770
[edit]Wasn't it an inverted V-12? Why wasn't it designated IV-770 (see United States military aircraft engine designations). - (ZLEA 13:30, 11 January 2017 (UTC)) — Preceding unsigned comment added by ZLEA (talk • contribs)
