[edit]Think this would work better as part of the Randolph Air Force Base article. It also has a portion for the Historic District. The HD is basically the entire airbase. 25or6to4 (talk) 16:00, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- Agree with above. If someone is looking for information about the historical field, they'll probably start by looking at the Randolph Air Force Base article anyway. 131.44.121.252 (talk) 20:48, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- This NPS site (see bottom of page) says that the historic district is located at the center of the air base, so they are not equivalent; the district is only 405 acres, I'm sure the entire base is much larger (I saw 2300 acres mentioned somewhere). I think a National Historic Landmark deserves its own article. This article could use a lot of expansion, such as a list of the contributing buildings and some discussion of the architecture.--BillFlis (talk) 15:22, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- Disagree with move - A National Historic district (United States) is an independent landmark. An active military base is an independent contemporary installation.---cheers---Look2See1 t a l k → 04:34, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
