This article's text was a WP:COPYPASTE from the subject's website, ranblake.com (see, for example, this archived version from 2002). The text first appeared in April 2008 (diff), then removed in September 2008 as a suspected WP:COPYVIO (diff), then restored in February 2009 with an edit summary alleging that the text was "copyright-free" and used with permission (diff). At this time I have again removed this text and reverted (mostly) to the Feb. 2009 version. Even if we're allowed to use the text from ranblake.com (which is really a question for WP:OTRS), the tone is wholly inappropriate for an encyclopedia article (see WP:NPOV). I also don't see the need, or the point, in duplicating the text from ranblake.com here on Wikipedia (WP:NOTMIRROR). -- Gyrofrog (talk)00:55, 4 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
