Some comments
[edit]Re: awards- Ram Karmi was the only architect to be listed in Ynet's 200 Greatest Israelis.[1] Should that be mentioned in the awards section or elsewhere in the article? Sigalit Fishbein, "Israel's most beautiful synagogues", Ynet, lists the Hecht Synagogue designed by Karmi. Maybe this should be in the article. Anyone know if it is the same synagogue described here?[2] I think it deserves to be mentioned in the article, maybe in the awards section for being among the most beautiful or maybe in the career section for his shared role in the master planning of the university. I just read this,[3] which describes Karmi's involvement in selecting Louis Kahn to provide designs for rebuilding Hurva Synagogue and the article has some interesting observations by and about Karmi.
