[edit]I think a piece on this infamous USA con man of the late 20th century would be a must! 60 million people watched his TV ads in several western US states. He tried his cons in Washington State, was kicked out by the authorities, and never heard from again. Then he just dropped off the radar. I can't find anything about him afterwards.
