Additional references
[edit]Using the findagrave entry & going to his second wife's entry, there it mentions him as colonel (New Mexico militia judge advocate) appointed by Gov. Miguel A. Otero in 1897. Searching Colonel Twitchell brings up modern colonels and generals, but also New Mexico Office of the State Historian entry, and The New Mexican March 21, 1911. A great deal more seems in reach if someone chooses to sift through search results. Dru of Id (talk) 11:01, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
