Inappropriate tone

As requested on my talk page, here are some reasons that I tagged the article for inappropriate tone:

Use of personal rather than family name. Done
"He comes with an experience of over 40 years as…" this phrase fits a CV, e.g. where he is seeking to "come" to a new appointment – not an objective article about him.
Promotional language e.g. "prestigious", "distinguished", "highly cited" – such phrases could only be acceptable if specifically cited
"He has led…", "He is a strong advocate for…", "Srivastava is committed to…", "He has championed…", "This interest is also reflected in his work…" – these all belong in a CV rather than an article, unless specifically cited.

Conflict of interest

I have added a "Connected contributor" template above for Sireesha EV (talk · contribs), who has expanded this article by a factor of 3. She has a WP:Conflict of interest as she is Digital Media Manager at the Indian School of Business and updating this article on advice from the Dean's (Rajendra Srivastava's) office.[2]

@Sireesha EV: please move the existing references into inline citations using<ref></ref>tags. It will be OK for you to do this yourself.

Hi Team, I have made the required iterations, request you to help in removing the message on the Rajendra Srivastava's Wiki page. Or please suggest on the further modifications. I am advised to update the page. As I have emphasized earlier, the information posted on the page is factual.

The article's tone is still far too promotional, the article should be trimmed by half. This reads like a profile on his university's page. As an example, you would not see He has led innovation-driven and research-informed changes in academic programs in Britannica. – Thjarkur (talk) 10:46, 28 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
