  • The single cover image requires an alt image description

Lead

[edit]

Paragraph 2

[edit]
  • "Madonna has only performed the song during The Girlie Show World Tour in 1993, and a remixed version of the song was used as a video interlude during her 2008–09 Sticky & Sweet Tour." --> "Madonna has only performed the song during The Girlie Show World Tour in 1993, while a remixed version of the song was used as a video interlude during her 2008–09 Sticky & Sweet Tour."

Background and release

[edit]
  • Nada enchilada
Don't understand, but I guess it means the section is fine, lol. Bluesatellite (talk) 02:36, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yea that's what it means lol. Carbrera (talk) 03:16, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Composition

[edit]

Paragraph 1

[edit]
  • The "but not too fast" statement sounds more like an opinion to me
It is what being written on the sheet music. Bluesatellite (talk) 02:36, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Paragraph 2

[edit]
  • These first two sentences are completely unsourced, and they include quite a bit about the song's lyrical analyzations
It is actually sourced in the citation [12] by the end of the third sentence. Should I repeat it? Bluesatellite (talk) 02:36, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Nothing else here

Critical reception

[edit]

Paragraph 2

[edit]
  • Change to "Writing for The Huffington Post, Matthew Jacobs placed the track at number 43 of his list "The Definitive Ranking Of Madonna Singles" and felt the track was a departure from the previous "carnal" releases from Erotica; "It’s not terribly distinctive from the other ballads Madonna released in the early ‘90s, but then there’s the sultry chorus with the uplifting lilt 'Here comes the sun'".[21]" please
  • What's your opinion on the slight punctuational change?
Alright. Bluesatellite (talk) 02:36, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Paragraph 3

[edit]
  • Since Matthew Rettenmund wrote an entire encyclopedia of sorts on Madonna, may it be a bit bias with the compliments coming from him? I neglected to mention this is my previous review for "Secret" too
Actually, I'm not the one who added the content from that book to the article. But then, what's the difference with a biography such as Madonna: An Intimate Biography or Madonna? All those books are just the same, dedicated to one person. I guess it's fine, unless you can prove its biasness or giving sources claiming its unreliability. Bluesatellite (talk) 02:36, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I guess you're right. Carbrera (talk) 03:16, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Live performances and covers

[edit]
  • You could add the year after the mention of Madonna: Like an Icon
I think it's unneeded, since the other books on the article are not accompanied by year. Bluesatellite (talk) 02:36, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Got it. Carbrera (talk) 03:16, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
