3R Act and 4R Act
[edit]The Regional Rail Reorganization Act of 1973 formed the Consolidated Rail Corporation (CONRAIL), not the Railroad Revitalizaiton and Regulatory Reform Act of 1976. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.124.12.253 (talk • contribs) 23:03, November 28, 2005.
- I rewrote the lead section and other text to reduce the confusion in the description of the 4R Act. Added background on the 3R Act and described other provisions of the 4R Act. More editing & expansion is needed; the Initial Reaction section only discusses the regulatory reform aspects. Style is somewhat term paper-ish, could be more encyclopedic.
