Battle of Blar Na Pairce

Is the "Raid on Ross" the same event as the Battle of Blar Na Pairce? If so, should the two articles not be merged or, if not, should they not be more clearly differentiated? And I wonder what reliable modern historiography may be available to improve upon the account of Donald Gregory in his History of the Western Highlands and Isles of Scotland. 45ossington (talk) 09:09, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
