Guillermo A. Baralt is well noted historian who has published 11 books related to Puerto Rican history. His works include: "Buena Vista, 1833-1904", "Desde el mirador de Prospero", "Esclavos rebeldes", "Historia de El nuevo día", "History of the Federal Court in Puerto Rico, 1899-1999", "LA Buena Vista", "Slave Revolts in Puerto Rico", "Tradición de futuro", "Tradition into the future" "Yauco" and "Yauco, o, Las minas de oro cafetaleras". The author is not related to the family nor an employee of the bank institution. His work in "Tradición de futuro", in accordance to the books introduction, was a result of unbaised research of family documents and documents of El Banco Popular. I believe that Baralt and his work are reliable sources. Tony the Marine (talk) 17:03, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
