Reasons and Resonance
This doesn't really explain the genesis or exodus of the term. "Radical" is an English word meaning getting to the roots; "chic" is a French word meaning fashionable. It seems a rather random collision of words, and I don't understand why it has survived for decades. "Bourgeois bohemian", for example, is alliterative and oxymoronic. "Radical chic", however, is neither euphonic nor semantically interesting. Why???--Jack Upland (talk) 11:13, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Che Chic
Most of the information in the Che Chic section is irrelevant.--Jack Upland (talk) 08:48, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- It also has too many subsections and too many notes. I will tidy this up.--Jack Upland (talk) 18:02, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
