Peer Review
[edit]Lead:
- The lead of this article describes the main points of the article very well and very clearly and concisely summarizes the article. Great job!
- The picture in the info box next to the lead is also very helpful and informative.
Content:
- Overall, the content is comprehensive and the flow of the article is easy to follow and well done.
- A couple of small edits that can be incorporated - when you mention different imaging modalities for diagnosis, it might be nice to add an ultrasound image since you have one for the other imaging modalities. I understand you may not have found one during your initial image search and if that's the case, it's not necessary. Additionally, on the CT scan image - I'm not sure if it's possible but might be nice to be able to add an arrow to point out where the fracture, similar to how the x-ray image does.
- It would be helpful to make a table or bulleted list for treatment of the stable and unstable types of fractures.
Tone and Balance:
- Tone is neutral and unbiased. Good balance of information.
Sources and references:
- Sources are appropriate and links work.
Organization:
- The article is very well organized and easy to follow. There is no extraneous content and each heading is appropriate.
Images and Media:
- The images and image captions help paint a clearer picture of the content of the article.
- Like mentioned above under the content section, the addition of an ultrasound image and an arrow pointing out the fracture in the CT scan would be helpful.
