Relationship with secretary to P.M. – when?
[edit]"Mathews was in a relationship with Ainsley Gotto, personal private secretary to Prime Minister John Gorton (Liberal, 1968–71) ... Mathews also told Whitlam ..."
I specified "(Liberal, 1968–71)" myself, where specification is much needed, by reference to our biography John Gorton. But why tell Whitlam (when?), or why is Whitlam's permission relevant? We identify Gough Whitlam as P.M. Labor, 1972–75. That explanation is much needed, too. --P64 (talk) 21:19, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
- (fix one typo above). Maybe the Coalition politics needs succinct explanation at this point in the article. Some readers know nothing of any AU parties. --P64 (talk) 21:23, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
- You actually put "John Gorton (Labor, 1968–71)" in the article. I've corrected that and re-worded it a bit. --Canley (talk) 23:06, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
