Dr. Rabadan has nearly 1500 citations to his published work in physics:
and is starting to have an impact in theoretical biology. The number of citations alone, in my opinion, makes him better known and more published than the average college professor (although perhaps not by a large margin), which passes the "Professor test" from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(people). I leave it to those with more experience with wiki policy to decide if this is sufficient.
