Alignment of runways

Do we have a source for the runway being aligned 12/30?

Looking at contemporary mapping (https://maps.nls.uk/view/120900538) would seem to say that this is a typo as, while the runway's not marked it looks like 03/21 would be more correct as that;s the long axis of the "empty" space?
