updates needed

hi - i would like to make some updates to this page, and include some current clients. How would i add the below:

Ameriprise, Baileys, BBC, Beats Electronics, Getty Images, Heineken, Microsoft, McCormick, Nike, Nokia, O2, Qantas, Unilever, Ray-Ban,

we also need to update the agency model section to say:

R/GA's model is to create products, services and communications that help grow client’s businesses and brands. The agency specializes in developing digital products and services that connect to existing products and brands to drive innovation within a wide variety of consumer categories. R/GA creates communications that are socially relevant and utilize connected media to drive awareness and engagement while limiting reliance on paid media.

is this possible?

Thanks,

George

There is no great need for the page to be up to date. I'm not sure that we need a list of current clients because, a) it will be out of date again very soon and b) it is unlikely that their current clients have been discussed in any reliable sources so that we can verify the information. Just because it has been there for a long time is no reason to keep it. There's almost zero possibility of including that information about the model in its present form - it's a long, long way off from being written from a neutral point of view and as for the other information there is no source. I agree with Smsrtse. You want to add unreferenced content and marketing language. I say no. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 16:47, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi - i wanted to get your feedback on the below information about R/GA's agency philosophy, which changes every 9 years. The below contains referencable articles to support what is a neutraly writen summary of the agencies new business model - which is key to everything the agency does. Looking at other pages similar to R/GA, such as AKQA, i thought this would be a reasonable request.

i'd like to get your feedback on the below text and see if you guys at Wiki would accept it as an addition to the page. Hope this is the best way to run things like this past you.

Agency philosophy

In 2012, the New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/17/business/media/r-ga-plans-to-create-a-new-agency-model.html?_r=0) and Financial Times (http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/0134749a-f91b-11e1-945b-00144feabdc0.html#axzz2Qdqmrhxi) both reported that R/GA was moving into the next iteration of its agency model – which evolves every 9 years. They covered the fact that the agency was evolving its model to become more of a consultancy which creates products, services and communications, such as the Nike Fuel Band (http://www.adweek.com/news/advertising-branding/rga-adds-titanium-grand-prix-its-cyber-nike-fuelband-141381), to help grow it’s client’s businesses. In November 2012, The Guardian newspaper (http://www.guardian.co.uk/media-network/media-network-blog/2012/oct/09/greenberg-guardian-media-audience) also covered the news that R/GA’s CEO Bob Greenberg was again reinventing the agency, with a focus on creating communications that are socially relevant to drive awareness and engagement for clients, while limiting reliance on traditional paid media.

That's a massive improvement on before. The prose could do with some tweaking, but the references are just what we need. I'll try to update the article using the references you've provided later on today. SmartSE (talk) 14:59, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi Smartse - when will you be able to update the page as discussed above? Thanks.

Griffwell (talk) 13:03, 23 April 2013 (UTC)

Sorry - had a busier weekend than expected. I've made a start with the basic facts and will try to find a way to word the 'reinvention' part so that it sounds more neutral. SmartSE (talk) 14:10, 23 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi Smartse - sorry to chase, just wanted to see when this section might be updated as per above? Thanks. Griffwell (talk) 13:25, 30 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi - please can we have an update on times for this? Also, i have some more updates (all referenced) around recent awards won. Can i input them here for your review? THanks

Griffwell (talk) 09:14, 3 May 2013 (UTC)

I'll try and find some time this weekend. You are welcome to suggest changes regarding awards, but to be honest I think that there are already too many mentioned and we should trim some out. A general rule of thumb that I use in articles like this is that we should only include awards that someone other than the company or the organisation awarding it have discussed. E.g. if Adweek give an award that is fine, but we should only include it if the NYT mention that Adweek made the award. SmartSE (talk) 14:48, 3 May 2013 (UTC)

Understand about the awards - we will only suggest something that has clear third party references on it. Could you please let me know when the suggestion i provided about the agency model will be updated. You originally said it was suitable with the reference press links we provided. Any questions let me know.thanks.
