[edit]My edits have been reverted, so I will throw this out on the talk page.
This article is written like an ad. WP:SOAP All fromUser:Sparks Fly . All from billboard.com (reference 3)[1]. This, of course, is used too promote his new album.
So I want to see if you agree and I do not wish to have an edit war. --LCoolo 21:35, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, it's me. Well, if you think that you're right let's reach a consensus. What exactly you think that is a propaganda to his new album and why? Sparks Fly 19:45, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well let's start with the section titled "Music." To say "Thus, Flo Rida claims that "there's definitely something for everybody on this album", and "The title track talks about different things he has been through—from growing up in the ghetto and being around people who sell drugs to keeping his eyes on the prize, believing in God and being obedient", is somewhat on the borderline between an ad and a good wiki article.
- Then there is the one source, billboard.com, which leans toward promotitng various music artists and singers a like. Taken as a direct qoute from the site "Billboard offers full coverage of breaking music news and music chart toppers to music executives and fans alike." Emphasis on the "music executives" part.
- Although when the album is released it is fair to say that the article will go through some changes making this discussion pointless. With that, if you do not feel the way I do, then I would not mind if it stays up there.
- Happy Editing, Sparks! --LCoolo 02:52, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
- Not to step on anyone's toes, but I feel (and I think most other editors as well) that billboard is one of the better references available ... as far as fact checking and accuracy, they can rarely be beat... I would understand if someone was using one of the reviews or blogs as a reference, but using it for chart performance, etc. is just fine...
- At the same time, I also agree with you, and I think we could probably do without the music section... what Flo Rida says about his own album is not only un-encyclopedic (facts not opinions), but fails WP:NPOV also... - Adolphus79 (talk) 02:59, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
Isnt Lil Wayne supposed to appear on this album it says so on iTunes —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexorange (talk • contribs) 20:00, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
Magic
[edit]Hey guys i think that this song will be on the album just because he already made a music video for it. I may be wrong but here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsph9T2ff3k —Preceding unsigned comment added by RIptide879 (talk • contribs) 03:20, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
edit: Never mind, I looked at many different websites claiming the official track listing and not including this song. Perhaps a bonus video? —Preceding unsigned comment added by RIptide879 (talk • contribs) 03:23, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
reason to beleive this is not all the songs or they're in a different order
[edit]usually itunes offers pre-orders for albums.......this one does not. so it might be nicessary to inculde that its not official and that a few other songs are gonna be included in it: magic, garentee feat. akon —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.225.67.130 (talk) 11:52, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- Considering that this is the track listing according to Atlantic Records, I think we'll leave it just the way it is for now... - Adolphus79 (talk) 14:54, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
considering that he has about 4 songs and 1 music video........he might be already workin on his next one. , guarentee feat. akon, magic, sweat feat. chris brown.....idk about that last one because it was takin off the album.......mayb we should add a new section to flo rida's page with future work and put in it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.225.67.130 (talk) 11:41, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
