There is no problem with that in sciences. - Because of wikipedia:verifiability this is slightly different here, see WP:NONENG ... but for a predominantly German incident it will be hard to find any English reference that is comparable in quality to the German references. In modern times, http://translate.google.com is a good means to get an idea of the resource - just copy-and-paste the http-url and see the page in a rough translation.
