Age of Babur at Umar's accidental death.
[edit]If Umar died on 19 June 1494 and Babur was born in 14 February 1483, he was 11 at the time of Umar's death, not 10 as this article states. Several sources, including the Wikipedia article on Babur state that he was 12.
1. Is there a standard in Wikipedia on how a person's age is calculated? For example, in some traditions, a person is 1 at birth. That would allow 12 for Babur's age at Umar's death.
2. Is it possible that Babur was only raised to the throne of his father when he was 12, which would have been only 7 months after. In which case both this article and the article on Babur need correction. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marq au (talk • contribs) 09:39, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
