Ref removal
[edit]A reference was added, but then removed, partly based on the premise that the page number was incorrect. From what I understand, "pp 343" refers to the pages in the book, not the page number where the material is cited. There are other citation templates that allow for pinpoint page citation, so that may be a better choice.--Pink Bull (talk) 17:02, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
- Pages reference is for the exact page(s) referenced (AFAIK). You might consider using the Cite Book template. In my opinion those first two book references are not really needed, they are just passing references, and there is already a surfeit of information about the line-up. They add unnecessary clutter. However I will let others be the judge of that. Wwwhatsup (talk) 18:32, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Breakup date
[edit]AMG says the band broke up in in 2002. However there is evidence they were still touring with Sonic Youth in June 2003 [1]. I believe White Magic were playing their first shows just around then, so it wasn't a clean break. More sources / definitive info needed. Wwwhatsup (talk) 18:32, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Introduction
[edit]Intro needs a rewrite to include the notable musicians involved, and perhaps the Sonic Youth connection, thereby establishing notabilty. Wwwhatsup (talk) 18:32, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
