Admissions statistics
I added a few "Citation needed" tags in the admissions section, but really should have added more as none of the numbers in that section are substantiated. I didn't want to clutter up the page with too many tags. After a quick online search, I could find nothing to corroborate the numbers listed; in fact, they seem to be quite inaccurate, as U.S. News lists QU's admission rate as closer to 68% than the 45% currently listed on this page. I will delete those numbers if nobody can provide a source in the next few days.130.132.173.86 (talk) 19:47, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
How about more info on QU men's hockey, now ranked #1 in the nation! 71.201.4.78 (talk) 03:00, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
Information requests
How about some institutional information on QU ... eg. who is the president? This information is not highlighted on the college's website. 205.172.21.153 17:46, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
What about information about the faculty labor dispute? This past spring, Quinnipiac president John Lahey, exploiting a loophole in federal labor law, stripped professors of their right to bargain a contract and busted their union. http://www.shameonquinnipiac.org/ [00:27, October 11, 2006 67.33.244.241]
How about a pronounciation guide? [14:18, October 12, 2006 170.140.39.100]
How about more information on the poll. Is it well thought of? Any history? How does it compare with the bigger and better known polls like Gallup? There is an impression on the web that Quinnipiac poll is a liberal "push poll" that is out there artificially pumping up leftwing causes and candidates. I'm not sure if any one has attempted to quantify this observation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.20.177.193 (talk) 15:10, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- The president and the pronunciation key were subsequently added. I have now added a history of the polling institute. And no, it isn't a liberal push poll; it's highly rated for accuracy over the past several elections. Wasted Time R (talk) 13:03, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Quinnbobcatlogo.jpg
Image:Quinnbobcatlogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:39, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
