protection
[edit]Why does no lock symbol appear in the article page. The "protect" or "semi-protect" code should be added.
e.g., { { pp-semi-protected|small=yes } } or { { pp-semi-vandalism|small=yes } } (remove extra spaces)

Controversy
[edit]The history of this school is relevant to its Wikipedia page. These incidents took place during school sponsored activities involving faculty and students. Although this is an unpleasant part of the school's history it is still relevant when looking at this page from a neutral point of view. I'm concerned that the user removing this edit may have a COI. Please feel free to discuss. — Preceding unsigned comment added by For the love of truth (talk • contribs) 09:10, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
Following the precedent set by Pennsylvania State University and Columbine High School, I believe this is relevant to the history of the school and would jeopardise nuetrailty if it were omitted. --For the love of truth (talk) 19:24, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
- Please do not be so dramatic, talking about "jeopardising neutrality"; your point will be more strongly made if you stick to statements of fact. Anyway, there are sources for this part of the article, so complete removal of the paragraph is not in line with our editorial practices. I've reverted the removal carried out by User:Weatherrules. However, there was one negative statement about a living person which was not sourced. I have removed the statement per WP:BLP. Please remember that when adding negative statements about living people to any article on Wikipedia, the onus is on the person adding the statement to provide adequate sources for their assertions, and that unsourced negative statements may be removed at any time. --(ʞɿɐʇ) ɐuɐʞsǝp 08:51, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
Hello Deskana, there was no intention of drama in that statement. Sorry you felt that there was. I was using the word in its simplest form of definition, "Verb: Put (someone or something) into a situation in which there is a danger of loss, harm, or failure." I did not mean to cause any confusion. I feel that your statement is unnecessarily accusatory, and goes against the good faith policy of Wikipedia.
Also, I am wondering if we need to leave in the part you removed about 2013. The only reason I say this is because, through my research I have found that this is an ongoing issue and the statute of limitations may be lifted on this depending on the outcome of pending lawsuits. What do you think? --For the love of truth (talk) 09:16, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
