Multiple issues

[edit]

This article has a lot more issues than are mentioned in the templates.

  • For one thing, it had a huge babelfish issue. I tried to fix some of that, but as I am not a native speaker myself, someone else might want to have a look.
  • Introductory definition: The lede makes me believe that the company sells health food or something the like. In the article though I hear of medical, orthopedic, and optical equipment plus something about gauze fabric.
  • The article itself consists only of a history section which is way too long and split up into way too many subsections.
  • What about notability? Has anyone checked on that?

Sorry to add to the already long list of templates in the article, but I think we have to tackle the question of notability here. As there is currently not a single source in the article, not even a company website, there is really no way to know. I tried some search engines, and aside from a few WP mirrors, the only thing I could find was an online shop.
Strange also: I cannot find an article on this company in the Spanish WP. --84.190.85.67 (talk) 12:35, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
After finding this company on its LinkedIn page, I tried searching for sources using its more common name. I've added several potential sources which appear to my English-speaking eyes to be reliable if translated correctly. Would someone look them over and check me? If these help, I'd be glad to come back and format them correctly. Thanks! BusterD (talk) 18:18, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
They read advertorial- I'd be surprised if they weren't lifted from company press-releases, etc. (so, WP:PRIMARY). However, since I was only able to actually open more than a couple of the links, others may be an improvement. Cheers, Muffled Pocketed 18:26, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
When I was finding them, I was not very discriminating, but on second reading, they do look like PR type literature, though they seem to appear in somewhat reliable websites. The sixth link seems to be written by Reyes Queraltó, so that one would clearly be out. BusterD (talk) 18:34, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your research!
In case this article is going to stay, we should also think about the title. I cannot find a single website outside of Wikipedia or Wikipedia mirrors that uses "Queraltó S.A Group". It seems that the Spanish "Grupo Queraltó" actually is being used. --84.190.85.67 (talk) 22:18, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
