Episode summaries for eps 11-13 were removed because they were too long [1]. I've significantly shortened these summaries per a c/e request (see WP:GOCE/REQ history), but these summaries were removed again by the same editor [2]. A few extra words is no reason to remove these summaries outright; I invite the editor in question to discuss their removal and explain the problems with the text. I'm about to do a third pass on them. Baffle gab1978 (talk) 01:44, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
WP:TVPLOT states that the limit is 200 words - in the Television WikiProject, 280+ words is unacceptable. If you really need that many words for it, create an episode article. These were added while the season were airing as much longer summaries (300-400+ words), and were removed. Then a contributor to this article restored them after I stated that they needed to be shortened, and they never did so, so they were removed again. Also, you linked your diffs incorrectly. -- AlexTW01:51, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for explaining; diffs are fixed. TVPLOT isn't policy, it's a guideline; and there's no deadline. I agree the summaries were too long, but they weren't too awful. Removing them after I'd shortened them significantly yesterday wasn't helpful either. Hopefully my passes tonight will reduce the word count again, and I'll be done. I won't remove the tags though. I'm not familiar with this programme, which is the reason I'm taking my time. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 02:41, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
