Speedy Deletion

I don't see how this is advertising. This site has as much notability as many other sites, and its competitor, Alexa. What can I do to keep this from being deleted?

This was written as an advert- it was apallingly non-encyclopedic in style- why did people only complain and not try to improve it? I have given it a quick go but if it is not MUCH improved, I would just delete it. The writer who is complaining against its deletion is pretending not to get the fact that we are NOT proposing to delete it becuase it is not notable- I am sure that Quantcast is a Notable company. We are proposing deletion because this page was and to some extent still is a serious embarassment to the objectivity of Wikipedia in its style.

Fairness

Most any other Wikipedia article would have a full review, noting good and bad. This page says only good things, information one may find in an advertising for the company. Unless this company has indeed done nothing worth noting, either good or bad, this page seems moderately biased, or at least in need of more relevant information. 24.2.50.95 (talk) 05:13, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

One criticism is that, like alexa and other web traffic estimators, its statistical data is limited, in this case to pages that have quantcast's javascript installed, and necessarily somewhat inaccurate. http://petesbloggerama.blogspot.com/2008/02/competecom-vs-quantcastcom-vs-alexacom.html discusses how adding quantcast's code alters a pages rank in quantcast, suggesting this inaccuracy. 69.203.83.137 (talk) 14:24, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Another issue is that they're currently using a bad X.509 certificate for HTTPS (SSL/TLS) on their servers, resulting in unauthenticated communication and scary warnings in people's Web browsers. That's not very professional of them. --82.61.59.93 (talk) 13:30, 13 November 2011 (UTC)

Worth knowing about

As a former webmaster, I would like to say that this article, and also Alexa Internet, are worth knowing about, and the present article is a start. However, article and to a lesser extent the Alexa article need references not directly connected with their subject, and especially inline citations.--DThomsen8 (talk) 17:53, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
