[edit]Hi Casey, below are my comments:
- Overall you have a very clear structure and you seem to have a clear plan for your article!
- Is there a history/origin for qualitative research in criminology? Does this exist? Like since when did it start, who started it and why or how etc. Since you mentioned "Historically...xyz" in your introduction paragraph, it would be helpful to have this sentence included in a section about the history.
- If your subsections under "Fundamentals of Criminological Qualitative Research" are only "Key Characteristics" and "Terminology", it might be better to just name this section as "Key Characteristics and Terminology". This is more straightforward about what this section is about.
- Change "Common Qualitative Methods in Criminology" to just "Common Methods" or "Methods". This is clearer about what this section talks about without repeating too much the title of your article.
- Change "Qualitative Data Analysis in Criminology" to "Data Analysis"
- I personally don't think you need a starting sentence "There are several ethical issues that..." for the section "Ethical Issues", you can just start with the subheadings.

What distinguishes this article from Qualitative research?
[edit]What distinguishes this criminology specific article from the article about Qualitative research? Why do we need two articles on what is essentially the same subject? What makes criminology so different we need a separate article? If there are specific qualitative research issues and techniques specific to criminology then that should be covered specifically by having a separate article discussing criminology research issues and not simply cover the same ground as the Qualitative research article. While the Qualitative research article receives in excess of 500 hits a day, this article often gets fewer than 5 a day. There is no mention in the Qualitative research article of anything to do with criminology research applications or issues and that article does not even refer to this one. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 09:01, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
