The article has asserted as fact what might actually be WP:FRINGE violations. And as for the primary author, Scottsandler (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic. Yakushima (talk) 11:36, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Largely resolved, I think. I'm taking the tags down. Yakushima (talk) 08:32, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Help with citation

[edit]

Please help me figure out how to add a citation to a NASA grant: Cooperative Agreement (NASA Grant Number NNX08AF11G -Effective Date: 12/20/07 to 12/20/10.) POC Dr. John LaBrecque NASA Earth Surface and Interior Focus Area — Preceding unsigned comment added by Scottsandler (talkcontribs) 17:58, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

LaBrecque might help with that. He can be reached at john.labrecque@nasa.gov. BTW, four tildes ("~") signs your posts. Yakushima (talk) 09:22, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Searching here [1] with grant number NNX08AF11G turned up substantiation. Yakushima (talk) 07:37, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Moving toward WP:NPOV compliance

[edit]

I'd like to be able to take down the tagging on the Quakefinder article before the week is out. Scott, with your recent contribution here [2] surely you have a better handle on potentially balancing sources than I do. It looks like a quote from Johnston [3] would go a long way toward bringing the article into compliance with WP:NPOV Yakushima (talk) 06:17, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Benefit from Update: Company Closed, Research Reported

[edit]

This article would benefit from an update with sources correcting the company's status (closed) and final field test reports. The article would also benefit from corrected and updated information reporting it's legal status (for-profit), as the hyperlink to the company's mission statement is dead (rotted) and the archived (Wayback Machine) mission statement represents the company as having filed a for-profit charter. The Footnote #2 does not make sense for a for-profit company. SciTechWrite (talk) 01:08, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
