Fake

[edit]

The Freehold Township "meteor" was a fake, it was just a lump of stainless steel alloy.[1]. Removed text about Freehold Township "meteor".--Diamonddavej 01:38, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Time of Rise

[edit]

The article contains "The radiant rises after local midnight.". The context implies "on or about January 3rd", no problem there.

But whether the radiant rises is latitude-dependent. Far enough north, and Quadrans is circumpolar; far enough south, and it is never seen.

The approximate celestial co-ordinates of the radiant should be given.

I noticed the local midnight thing too. I'm inexperienced, but wouldn't this imply a specific location somewhere on Earth? Here in Florida this year, it looks to me like the radiant will happen to rise right around midnight, but shouldn't it be different times elsewhere on Earth.
