- Qianshan Subdistrict is comprised of 21 communities.
- Of its 178,000 residents, most are migrants and only 48,000 hold a local hukou.
- The subdistrict's 2003 GDP was 6,800,000,000 RMB.
- Qianshan is the location of the tomb of Shen Zhiliang (沈志亮, Shěn Zhìliàng).[no explanation of his notability]
- Qianshan High School (t 前山中學, s 前山中学, Qiánshān Zhōngxué) is the oldest in Zhuhai, having been founded in 1757.
