Merge with Queensland Rail

[edit]
The result of the debate was do not merge. --WikiCats 06:32, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Page title

[edit]

The text in this article is correct, but the title of this page should not have a space (meaning it should be QRNational not QR National/QR_National). Because Wikipedia file names are case-sensitive, it means that the page will have to be replaced with a redirect to a spaceless-titled name. Seo75 18:56, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Aurizon. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Add 5040 Class?

[edit]

Is 5040 just a mild upgrade of the 5020s, or a more significant difference. Either way, it should be noted for completeness.

Wikipedians may feel free to delete this section when 5040 class is addressed in the Aurizon main page.

Dubious statement

[edit]

First sentence: “and the largest of its kind in the nation.” I think that this is a little dubious, considering the fact that the “fact” comes from their own website as per the reference with nothing to back up what that actually means. Also of note, Pacific National’s website says the exact same thing about themselves. Thoughts on changing it to “one of the largest”? Fork99 (talk) 06:55, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed that questionable statement and added a similar more specific claim from third parties. - Shiftchange (talk) 05:43, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Future structure of One Rail and Aurizon articles

[edit]

Please join a discussion I've initiated on the Talk:One Rail Australia page about the appropriate treatment of the One Rail article, which will have a few (fairly minor) consequences for the Aurizon article. SCHolar44 (talk) 01:19, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For your information: new Aurizon-relevant article on Magnetic Rail Group

[edit]

Dear colleagues, This is to let you know that I have prepared a new article on Magnetic Rail Group, the purchasers of Aurizon's divested assets. It replaces the interim article on "East Coast Rail", which as you may well know was the name of Aurizon's independent business unit that administered the divestiture. Discussion is here.
