- Actually Pyotr Aven is Jewish and also a co-founder of Genesis Philanthropy Group which aims to strengthen Jewish identity among Jews from the former Soviet Union: http://www1.yadvashem.org/yv/en/about/events/2009/project_genesis.asp

Also the internet is full of sources that prove he is Jewish, and not ethnically Russian or Latvian. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.99.223.37 (talk) 20:01, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
Title does not match article text
[edit]Why is the title of this article "Pyotr Aven", even though in the text it is always spelled "Petr"? Which is correct, and if "Petr" is correct, should the article be renamed to the correct spelling? GreyGoose (talk) 08:51, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
I also checked Google for both spellings, and overall (web, news, and books combined) "Petr Aven" is used twice as much as "Pyotr Aven". I also notice that his official bios in his companies spell his name "Petr" (http://alfabank.com/governance/board/aven/, http://www.letterone.com/about-us/leadership-and-governance/board-members/petr-aven). Does anyone know how to change the title of this Wikipedia article? GreyGoose (talk) 23:54, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
No one seems to have objected to this, so I am going to try the "Move" function to change the title. GreyGoose (talk) 04:56, 3 June 2017 (UTC)
Paid editing
[edit]Interesting that they appear to have tired to pay to have their article "improved" per edits by User:Earflaps. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 17:10, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
