DYK candidature?

In an encouraging message on my talk page, a fellow wiki-contributor suggested that I should put this entry up for "DYK" candidature. I have only recently become aware of the DYK system and I a not sure that I sufficiently understand it. Anyhow, here's the reply that I wrote him, copied from my talk page. I think, probably, I will put the entry up for DYK if only to see what happens. But .... I'm still not sure if it is ready for that stage ... yet!

...In the case of this entry, I think there is still quite a lot of information in Polish Wikipedia and in Russian sources which I have not sufficiently accessed, and my initial thought is that it should probably be expanded before becoming a DYK candidate. Still, maybe putting it up for a DYK would bring in potential contributors with better Russian and Polish than mine (not much of a challenge, alas, especially for a member of Wikipedia Project Poland such as yourself!) able to add materially from Polish and Russian language sources.
